Collectible Wood Art
Original works created through engraved and crafted natural wood.
CONTEMPORARY COLLECTIBLE ART STUDIO
EBONFORM transforms natural wood into enduring collectible works through precision, craftsmanship, and artistic direction.
Rather than beginning with canvas or paper, we begin with a material already shaped by time—its grain, texture, tone, and natural variation becoming part of the artwork itself.
ABOUT EBONFORM
A MATERIAL-LED ART HOUSE
EBONFORM Studio is a contemporary collectible art studio based in Karachi, Pakistan, created around one defining idea: to transform natural wood into enduring works of art.
Through precision engraving, detailed hand-finishing, polishing, and careful craftsmanship, each piece is developed into a physical artwork intended to carry both artistic expression and lasting material presence.
As a new and independent art studio, EBONFORM is currently building its collection and collector community before establishing a permanent physical gallery.
“The material is not a background.
EBONFORM · KARACHI
It is part of the work.”
OUR STORY
EBONFORM began with a desire to explore a different way of creating art.
Founder Saifuddin Tanoli envisioned artwork that could be experienced not only visually, but physically—art with depth, texture, material character, and a direct connection to nature.
The process begins with carefully selected wood. A composition or sketch is engraved into the surface with precision, establishing the structure of the artwork. From there, the piece passes into the hands of skilled craftsmen who develop the finer details, refine the surface, and bring greater dimension to the work.
The artwork is then carefully finished and polished, allowing the natural grain of the wood and the engraved composition to exist as one complete piece.
Natural grain, tone, texture, and character are considered before the work begins.
The composition is formed directly into the surface with controlled precision.
Skilled craftsmen refine depth, edges, texture, and individual elements.
The surface is finished so the artwork and the natural grain remain visually connected.
What began as raw material becomes a finished EBONFORM work intended to be kept.
OUR MISSION
EBONFORM exists to create a new expression of contemporary collectible art—one where nature, technology, craftsmanship, and artistic storytelling come together.
Our mission is to create works that feel considered rather than mass-produced. Every artwork should possess its own visual identity, material character, and sense of permanence.
We believe collectors should acquire more than decoration. They should acquire a work with a story, a process, and a physical presence that can remain meaningful for years to come.
OUR VISION
Our long-term vision is to establish EBONFORM as a distinctive contemporary art house known for collectible works created through wood, engraving, craftsmanship, and exceptional material detail.
From Karachi, we aim to introduce collectors around the world to a form of art where the natural character of wood becomes part of the composition itself.
We also seek to build a platform where artists, craftsmen, designers, and collectors can connect through a shared appreciation for material-led art and thoughtful creation.
WHAT WE CREATE
EBONFORM focuses on limited and carefully developed works rather than high-volume decorative production.

THE FOUNDER
FOUNDER & ARTIST, EBONFORM
Saifuddin Tanoli founded EBONFORM with the belief that art can exist beyond conventional surfaces.
His vision was to take something natural—wood with its own grain, history, imperfections, and character—and transform it into a contemporary work of art without removing the identity of the material itself.
EBONFORM represents the realization of that idea: combining artistic direction, precision engraving, skilled craftsmanship, and natural material to create works designed for collectors.
For Saifuddin, the purpose of EBONFORM is not simply to place an image onto wood. It is to allow the artwork and the material to become one.
A GALLERY IN THE MAKING
KARACHI · PAKISTAN
EBONFORM is currently based in Karachi and is in the early stages of building its permanent gallery presence.
Until then, our studio and online collection serve as the beginning of the EBONFORM gallery—a place for collectors to discover new works, learn about their materials and stories, and follow upcoming releases.
As EBONFORM grows, we intend to introduce private viewings, curated exhibitions, collector experiences, artist conversations, and a physical gallery environment dedicated to the work.
